Kemsley baby Eyla is a model child when it comes to TV and magazines

Eyla Clarke really is a model baby.

Since being signed by the London agency Tiny Angels in January, the nine-month old has been inundated with castings and shoots for well-known brands.

At the moment, images of her angelic face and big blue eyes can be seen on the Mothercare website as well as a TV advert for Sudacrem.

The tot also recently appeared on the front cover of the magazine Mother & Baby.

Needless to say, parents Denice and Ian Clarke are extremely proud of their daughter’s achievements, as are her two brothers Joshua, 10, and Evan, five, and sister Jessica, eight.

Mrs Clarke, 36, from Kemsley, said: “It was only because a friend of mine suggested putting Eyla forward to Tiny Angels because their books were open that we did it, and it’s just escalated.

“Mothercare seem to love her – she obviously has the look that they like. She’s done about four or five shoots with them.

“I thought it would be just a couple of products she’d be modelling but when I went online the other day her photo scrolled across the page as a big image. I was like ‘Oh, my, God’.

“We’re now waiting for their Christmas catalogue to come out because she’s going to be in that.

“She’s also going to be in the Early Learning one in the next month or two.

“It certainly keeps us busy. We’ve been surprised by the reaction. We thought it would be a few shoots here and there but I’ve been up and down to London.

“Our parents help out with the other children and Ian has been able to juggle work so he can start and finish early, so it’s not been too bad.”

Any money Eyla makes goes into a trust fund which she can access when she is older.

Mrs Clarke added: “It’ll provide her with a little nest egg.

“If she wants to continue doing it when she’s older then we’ll support her – as long as it’s tasteful and we get to see what goes on, then I don’t see why not.”
