A teenager was taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted outside a holiday park in Dymchurch.

The 19-year-old is believed to have been attacked with a bottle or glass by another man.

He was left with cuts and bruises on his face after the assault, at around 6.45pm last Sunday.

It happened on the footpath next to the A259, Hythe Road, outside the New Beach Holiday Park.

The man was taken to hospital where he received several stitches to his face and head, but was released later the same day.

Now Kent Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault to get in touch.
