A man has been taken to hospital after a crash involving four vehicles.

The accident, which happened at around 4.30pm, left the A251 Faversham Road in Kennington closed in both directions.

Police were sent to the scene between Upper Vicarage Road/Lower Vicarage Road and A28 Canterbury Road (Penlee Point).

It was confirmed one man suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.

The road has since reopened.
