Police investigating the disappearance of a man from Ashford have discovered a body in Dover.
Officers made the tragic discovery in a tunnel in the Old Folkestone Road area yesterday.
Jason Peterson, 50, was reported missing on February 18, and there were several appeals to find him, including one recently as the beginning of March.
He was known to have links to both Dover and Whistable.
It is understood that formal identification has yet to take place, but Mr Peterson's family has been informed.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
