Air ambulance lands after boy hit by bus in Singleton Hill, Ashford

An air ambulance landed in Ashford this morning after a boy was reportedly hit by a bus.

Emergency services were called to Singleton Hill at 9.15am.

The child who is under the age of 13 was treated for his injuries at the scene before being flown to a London hospital.

A police spokesman said: “We received a call from South East Coast Ambulance Service at 9.15am on Saturday, January 13 regarding a report that a bus had struck a child on Singleton Hill, Ashford.

“Officers and ambulance crews attended the scene where the child was treated for injuries.

“The air ambulance also attended and the child was flown to a London hospital.

"The child’s parent has been informed.”
