Ashford: Boy 'punched' by man in Willesborough Infant School playground

A schoolboy suffered a bloody nose after reportedly being punched in the face by a man in a school playground.

Police were called to Willesborough Infant School in Ashford just after 3.30pm yesterday following the alleged attack on the boy, thought to be just six years old.

Head teacher Fran Rusbridge has not commented on the incident because of police involvement but said parents can speak with her if they have concerns.

A police spokesman said no arrests have been made but inquiries are ongoing.
