Car parked outside Folkestone's Grand Burstin hotel destroyed by fire

A car burst into flames outside a major hotel.

It happened outside the Grand Burstin at Folkestone’s Marine just after midnight last night and the road had to be closed for half an hour.

One fire engine from the Folkkestone was called, with an officer’s vehicle and the crew put out the flames with foam.

The fire began in the engine compartment of the green Vauxhall Vectra
and destroyed the entire vehicle.

The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
