Car 'completely destroyed' and two more damaged by fire in Ashford

Firefighters are working to establish the cause of a fire which spread across three cars this morning.

Crews were called to Jack Dunbar Place in Ashford where they found a car well alight.

A spokesperson from KFRS said: "The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire and two cars nearby were also damaged. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

"The cause of the fire is unknown, but there were no signs of deliberate ignition."

Crews left the scene at 4.46am.
