The emergency services attended a house fire in Hamstreet this morning.

Fire crews and paramedics were called to Orlestone View at 11.06am after a passerby heard an alarm sounding and saw smoke.

One floor of the property was reportedly smoke logged and crews used a ventilation fan to clear it.

There are no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

Police were also spotted at the scene.
