Police and ambulance crews called to Bybrook Road, in Kennington, Ashford, after bus and car collide

A cyclist was treated by paramedics this morning after coming off his bike.

Ambulance crews were called to Bybrook Road, in Kennington, Ashford, following an incident between a bus and cyclist.

The man was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Stagecoach bus service reported delays to its C Line service following the crash.

They posted on Twitter: "C Line services, due to a RTC in Bybrook Road. this service will be running late."

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "We were called at 8.06am to a report of a collision between a cyclist and a bus along Bybrook Road, near the junction with Canterbury Road.

"The cyclist was treated at the scene."

Traffic was diverted around the incident, causing some delays along the road.

In a separate incident, another cyclist was hurt following a crash along Somerset Road in Ashford yesterday.

The man, 28, was taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
