Male cyclist remains in serious condition after being hit by car outside Sainsbury's

A cyclist remains in a serious condition in hospital - one week after being hit by a car outside a retail park.

Police launched an appeal for dashcam footage following the collision between the red and silver Apollo bicycle and black Audi in Ashford last Sunday.

The incident happened just before 5pm near the Sainsbury's Bybrook store at the junction with Simone Weil Avenue.

The male cyclist was airlifted to the King's College Hospital in London and is still in a serious condition.

An investigation by the serious collision investigation unit (SCIU) has been launched.
