Fire crews at Henwood industrial estate, Ashford

Firefighters were called to an industrial estate after a fire broke out in an oven.

The crews from the Ashford Fire Station were called to the nearby industrial oven off Wyvern Way in the Henwood area at 12.30p on Wednesday, April 19.

They used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze, which had been contained to the oven. The premises was described as lightly damaged by smoke.

There were no reported injuries and crews left the scene an hour later.
