Man seriously injured after crash in White Hill, Challock

01 February 2013

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after his car crashed at Challock.

The driver, a 44-year-old man from Thanet, suffered head injuries after his black Audi A6 left White Hill and hit a tree by the Kings Wood car park at 5.25pm yesterday.

He was found lying on the ground near the car by a passer-by who called the emergency services.

The man was later taken to Kings College Hospital in London by ambulance.

PC Jamie Woodhams from Kent Police said: “I would like to appeal to any person who saw this vehicle prior to the collision in the Ashford area. I would ask anyone who did witness the collision or the vehicle to come forward.”

Any witnesses can call the serious collision investigation unit on 01622 798538.
