Thieves steal xylophones and clarinets worth £7,000 from Brenzett Primary School in Romney Marsh

Thieves stole pupils' musical instruments when they raided a primary school in Romney Marsh.

A total of 19 clarinets and two xylophones, worth £7,000, were stolen from the music room at Brenzett Primary School , Romney Marsh.

The break in, which caused £1,000 damage, was discovered last Tuesday when staff returned after the summer holiday.

The clarinets were in either black, hard cases or black canvas-type bags with red beading. The cases had stickers on stating The Advisory Service, Kent.

Anyone with information or who spots the instruments being offered second hand should contact PC Andy Perham at Kent Police on 101, giving reference ZY/25907/13.
