A pensioner remains in a serious but stable condition after being hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing.
The incident happened shortly after 12.30pm on Tuesday on the A28 Chart Road close to the tank roundabout in Ashford.
The 82-year-old man, who was airlifted to a London hospital, suffered serious injuries.
The road was shut for several hours after the incident, which saw the air ambulance land on the road close to Geerings.
Officers from the serious collision investigation unit are investigating the accident, which involved a blue Volkswagen Golf.
They are appealing for witnesses, including anyone who may have dashcam footage, to come forward.
