Police dealt with a reported disturbance in Ashford this morning.

Two cars and up to four officers were seen outside the shops in Faversham Road, Kennington, near Savers newsagents, at around 8am.

A spokesman for the force said they were called to a home in the road at 7.37am following reports of a disturbance.

It is understood two men had got into a disagreement, although no injuries were reported.

A spokesman for the police said: "No allegations of any kind of assault have been made."
