Appeal after serious crash on A2070, Ashford

Police have appealed for witnesses after a serious crash left a teenager fighting for his life in hospital.

The A2070 near Park Farm in Ashford was closed yesterday after a silver VW Golf collided with a white Dacia Sandero and then a red Peugeot.

Emergency services and the air ambulance were called to the scene and the road was closed for several hours.

The driver of the VW Golf, a man in his teens, was flown to the neurological unit at King’s College Hospital in London with life-threatening injuries.

A second motorist was treated by paramedics before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital in a serious condition.

Now officers from the serious collision investigation unit want any witnesses who have not already provided details to call 01622 798538 and quote reference number GD/259/17.
