Police re-open Bond Road, South Ashford after cars collided

A road has re-opened following a two car smash in South Ashford.

Police were called following a report of a collision between two cars in Bond Road at 12.08pm.

No one was reported as injured following the crash, and officers remained at the scene while recovery of the vehicles was arranged.

An ambulance was also called but was stood down en route.

Stagecoach bus company had to re-direct one of its bus routes following the smash.

A tweet said: "Due to an RTA all A-Line services will not be serving Bond Road or Jemmett Road to and from town."

The road was re-opened just after 1pm.
