Police called to Ashford's Eureka Skyway bridge over fears for young man

Police were called to the Eureka Skyway footbridge over the M20 at Ashford, following fears for the safety of a young man said to be on the wrong side of the railings.

The incident happened at about midday on Monday following a report of concern for a person on the bridge, which opened last year between the Sainsbury's Bybook store and the Eureka leisure park.

Officers attended and the young man was taken to the William Harvey hospital.
