A woman who was reported missing has been found safe and well.
Officers released an appeal for Mary Tomkins, 68, from Stanhope, who had not been seen since 10am yesterday.
She is thought to be suffering with dementia.
However, police say the woman has now been safe and well and thanked the public for their help.
