A man who witnessed two crashes involving cars and lorries said it turned a roundabout into a slalom course.

Ashford resident Martin O'Hoey witnessed the double collision on the Kennington Road roundabout near William Harvey Hospital.

He said: "The accidents happened within minutes of each other and yards apart. Once cars got round one of the crashes, they came across another."

The accidents happened around 3pm and led to a big build up of traffic.
