Dogs dress up for Charing dog show fancy dress parade

Pampered pooches have helped to raise more than £1,100 for a rural village’s annual Christmas lights display.

Around 150 people visited Charing playing field on Saturday for the Charing Companion Club Dog Show.

A total of 96 pets were entered into 27 classes, including pedigree, non-pedigree, obedience and breed groupings, as well as more fun categories like waggiest tail and fancy dress.
