A suspected burglar has been charged after two break-ins.

Anthony Kingwell, 36, of no fixed address, was today (Friday) charged with two counts of burglary and assaulting an officer.

The charges relate to raids in Park Place on Wednesday and Earlsworth Road yesterday in which electrical items were reported stolen.

Kent Police said that Kingwell was placed in custody and was due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court via video link today.
