Witness appeal after crash on A20 in Sellindge near Ashford

A motorcyclist is still being treated at a London hospital after a serious crash on the A20 in Sellindge near Ashford on Saturday.

Officers were called to the scene just before 4.20pm, which involved a blue Ford Focus and a blue Triumph motorbike near to the Co-Op store on Main Road.

His motorbike rider's condition is being described as critical but stable.

The A20 was closed in both directions after the collision, just after the junction with Swan Lane, near the traffic lights under the M20 bridge.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit investigating the incident are now appealing for witnesses.

They would like to hear from anyone who may have seen either the Ford Focus or the Triumph on the A20 in the area of the Co-op immediately before or during the collision, or who have dashcam footage.
