Greg Wood, a member of the successful Hythe Masters swimming team, is training for a channel swim during September.

Between September 5-17 Greg will be swimming from England to France.

Greg has thought about doing this for a long time and he feels that now is the best time to go for it.

Greg has been in proper training through rain, sleet and snow since September last year swimming at least every Sunday morning at 7.30am in the sea. He has also been swimming at Hythe Masters and training in Ashford.

In the next few weeks he plans to step up the frequency and in June will be swimming 7 hour sessions every Sunday.
