FA Vase fifth round draw featuring Ashford United, Tunbridge Wells FC, Phoenix Sports and Erith & Belvedere

The last four Southern Counties East League sides left in the FA Vase have been drawn away in the fifth round.

Only two of our clubs are definitely through to the last-16 and they both face long journeys.

Phoenix Sports, who went all the way to Cornwall and beat Bodmin Town 2-0 on Saturday, must travel to Tyneside to face Northern League Division 1 leaders North Shields.

The Southern Counties East leaders have not lost all season and their clash with Shields - the bookmakers' favourites to lift the Vase at Wembley - is probably the tie of the round.

Erith & Belvedere, who beat Yaxley 1-0 at Park View Road on Sunday, are off to Lincolnshire in round five after being drawn against another United Counties League Premier Division side, Holbeach United.

Both clubs are second in their respective leagues so it could be another Vase cracker.

Tunbridge Wells, the 2013 runners-up, drew 1-1 away to Highworth Town on Saturday and the two sides will meet again at Culverden this weekend for the right to visit Bradford Town.

The Wiltshire club are 10th in the Western League Premier Division.

Following the postponement of their fourth round tie on Saturday, Ashford United and Norwich United will try again at Homelands tomorrow night (Tuesday).

The winners of that game will be away to Ascot United - fifth in the Hellenic League Premier Division - in round five.

The ties will be played over the weekend of February 7.

FA VASE FIFTH ROUND DRAW

Bradford Town v Highworth Town or Tunbridge Wells

Ascot United v Ashford United or Norwich United

Holbeach United v Erith & Belvedere

North Shields v Phoenix Sports
