Canterbury roads in Barham, Ickham and Bishopsbourne remain closed due to flood damge

03 February 2014
by Jamie Bullen

Several road closures remain in place this morning after severe flooding across Canterbury over the weekend.

Kent Highway chiefs have tweeted a number of road closures this morning in areas still experiencing flood problems and have asked motorists to find alternative routes.

Water cascaded down the ford in Railway Hill, Barham at the weekend.

In Barham, Out Elmstead Lane is closed between Valley Road and the A2 due to ford flooding.

Meanwhile flooding has also closed Wickham Lane in Ickham between Wickham Road and The Street.

Finally in Bishopsbourne, Rose Lane is also closed due to flooding between Bonnybush Hill and The Street.
