The VW Golf crashed into a house in Herne Bay

This is the dramatic scene after a car ploughed into a house during a police chase in Herne Bay.

The blue VW Golf demolished a shed before careering into the weatherboard property in Canterbury Road.

A police helicopter has been searching for two suspects believed to have fled the car. One man was arrested and is in police custody.

Canterbury Road was closed at the Eddington roundabout while officers deal with the incident.
