Canterbury burglary suspects hunted as police release CCTV

Police are hunting for a suspect in connection with a city centre burglary.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they believe can help their investigation.

The burglary was reported to have taken place at a house in Longport in Canterbury.

Police say they have carried out several inquiries to identify suspects since the incident on Wednesday, August 2.

They know believe the man pictured, wearing a flat cap and pushing a bike, holds information vital to their investigation.

A house in Longport was targeted and cash was reportedly taken between 11.20am and 12.55pm.

Police are appealing to track down the man and have asked for him to get in touch or for witnesses who may know who he is to come forward.
