Dogs Trust Canterbury appeals to rehome seven Chihuahuas named after Disney's seven dwarfs

Who can offer homes to Doc, Smiley, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy and Dopey?

They are a family of seven Chihuahuas, named after Disney's seven dwarfs, taken in by the Canterbury Dogs Trust re-homing centre after their owner could no longer care for them.

All aged three, the lively group of five females and two males can be separated, says the charity.

Supporter relations officer at the re-homing centre Lara Murphy said: “We have dogs of all shapes and sizes looking for loving homes but it’s unusual to have quite so many of the same breed - they certainly look very striking together.

"Due to their appealing looks and affectionate natures, Chihuahuas rarely remain in kennels for long but we have our work cut out finding homes for all seven so we are appealing to the public to help us rehome them.”

"They are young dogs looking for experienced, patient, owners who will help them settle in and become part of the family. They could all do with some extra basic training and can live with children over fourteen.

"Our cheeky Chihuahuas are all lovely little characters who could potentially live with a compatible dog.

"In the right homes we know our seven dwarfs will make super pets so we really hope they all find the furry tail ending they deserve in loving new homes of their own.”

Anyone interested in offering one or more of the Chihuahuas a home can call the rehoming centre on 01227 792505 or visit the kennels in Radfall Road, Chestfield, Nr Whitstable, CT5 3ER.
