Blean crash in Whitstable Road causes rush hour tailbacks

A rush hour crash has blocked a busy road between Canterbury and Whitstable this morning.

The accident happened at 9am on the Whitstable Road in Blean, sparking long tailbacks.

A BMW convertible and Peugeot 2008 Crossover collided at the junction with Tyler Hill Road and emergency services were sent to the scene.

It is not believed anyone was seriously injured.

The road was still blocked at 9.30am while police dealt with the incident.
