Wingham High Street was closed in both directions following a crash.

The accident took place between the High Street (B2046) and St Mary's Meadow at around 6pm.

Traffic backed up to Littlebourne causing delays.

People caught up in the incident have said the area is at a standstill.

It's not known whether anyone was injured.
