Wayne Stirrups from Canterbury returns home after 11 days missing

A dad-of-two who was missing for 11 days has been found.

A nationwide search operation for Wayne Stirrups, of Sturry Road in Canterbury, has come to an end after his brother Jason confirmed that he had arrived back home.

Wayne, 30, was seen in Cardiff on Thursday, November 17 and was spotted again in Trafalgar Square in London on Saturday night.

A group set up on Facebook called Help Find Wayne Stirrups has more than 10,000 members and posters have been plastered over walls across the country.

Jason Stirrups posted on the group this morning: "I can't start to thank everyone who has been there for me and my family but Wayne is safe and now at home.

"We can start working on the next chapter now!

"Again I can't thank you all enough it just shows what beautiful people there really are in this world."
