Robert Manning who has gone missing in Herne Bay

Police officers are concerned for the welfare of missing Herne Bay man Robert Manning.

He has not been seen since 4pm on Monday and was reported missing at 11pm.

Mr Manning lives in Selsea Avenue but did not return home.

He usually has a strict routine, which involves walking along the seafront at Central Parade in Herne Bay and visiting family in the area.

Police and those who care for Mr Manning are concerned for his welfare due to the adverse weather conditions and rough seas.

He is 47, white, 6ft, of stocky build with blue eyes, grey balding hair and he has marks on his head. He was wearing a blue padded jacket.
