Arjed Ali from Canterbury killed in crash in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Police reveal

A 29-year-old from Canterbury has died following a crash in Peterborough.

Arjed Ali, of Cambridge Road, suffered fatal injuries after the Renault Clio he was driving collided head-on with a Mercedes Sprinter van on the A47.

He died instantly.

The driver of the van, a 71-year-old man from Deeping St James in Lincolnshire, was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.

Cambridgeshire police are appealing for witnesses.
