Man injured in attempted burglary

Officers investigating an attempted burglary in Canterbury have released computer-generated images of two men they would like to speak to.

It was reported that on Wednesday, July 5, between 8.30am and 8.38am an attempted burglary was carried out at a property in Pine Tree Avenue.

Nothing was reported stolen but the victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted during the incident.

The victim was able to open the front door and call for help and two male suspects ran from the house and got into a white van before driving away.

The victim suffered what are believed to be minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
