If you are in Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay or Faversham, the Elf Service needs you

Say hello to the Elf Service, the team from the Gazette and Faversham News that needs YOU to help spread some Christmas cheer.

Not content with helping Father Christmas to make toys in the North Pole and looking after his reindeer, they want to make the world a much kinder place.

They want to know from you if an act of kindness, no matter how big or how small, would make a real difference to someone this Christmas.

It could be as simple as needing a case of wine for a pensioners’ lunch, Christmas decorations for a women’s refuge or blankets for abandoned dogs.

The Elf Service will do its best to make as many wishes come true as possible.

Editor Leo Whitlock said: “We want your help to make some Christmas wishes come true.

“Times are still tough out there and the smallest gesture can have the biggest effect.

“We want to do all we can to give people that warm, fuzzy feeling while making a real difference.

“Don’t be afraid to send us your ideas no matter how small or how ambitious and we’ll do our very best to help.”
