BT opens new technical and engineering centre in Canterbury Business Park, Bridge

About 100 staff at BT have moved into the company’s new technical and engineering centre.

The 6,600sqft office sits in a one acre site at Canterbury Business Park in Bridge.

Workers are moving over from their former base in Villiers Road, Canterbury, after their new home was officially opened last month.

The office was built by developers Quinn Estates, who began work on the building in July.

Managing director Mark Quinn said: “BT identified several sites in the area and picked Canterbury Business Park because of its superior location and close proximity to the main road network.

“We have managed to retain BT in the Canterbury District which has safeguarded 100 jobs for the local economy as well as creating 60 construction jobs.”
