A man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a car overturned in a busy road causing traffic to be diverted last night.

Emergency services were called to Forty Acres Road just before 9.30pm.

Police understand the 29-year-old driver crashed into a parked car blocking the road until 11.30pm.

He suffered an arm injury and was treated at the scene before being taken to William Harvey Hospital.

He has been released on bail until Friday, June 17.
