Police looking for driver whose car crashed and burst into flames at Pilgrims Way, Canterbury

The police and fire brigade were called to the Pilgrims Way area of Canterbury on Monday night after reports of a car on fire.

It is believed the Ford Fiesta was involved in an accident at the Barton Business Park where it burst into flames at just after 8.30pm.

The driver did not remain at the scene.

Firefighters spent half an hour at the park and used a high pressure hose reel jet to douse the flames.

Police have taped off the entrance to a track which leads from Pilgrims Way to the business park.
