Police pull over driver travelling wrong way along A2 between Bridge and Canterbury

Police raced to the A2 after reports a driver had been spotted travelling the wrong way.

Officers were called to the London-bound stretch between Bridge and Canterbury just after 7.30pm yesterday.

A police spokesman said: "Officers stopped the car safely and no collisions occurred."

No one was arrested, but the DVLA was notified.
