Police looking for information after 19th century garden urn is stolen from a back garden in Milton Close, Canterbury

Police are hoping to trace a 19th century garden ornament stolen by thieves from a back garden in Canterbury.

The black cast iron urn and pedestal of Campana design was taken from an address in Milton Close some time between 9am on Tuesday, May 6 and 10am on Wednesday, May 7.

Investigators fear the ornament may now be in the hands of scrap metal merchants and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen it.
