Canterbury: Havelock Street and Monastery Street closed following lorry collision

Two city roads were closed by police after a lorry crashed into scaffolding at the front of a building.

Havelock Street and Monastery Street in Canterbury were sealed off after the collision at around 10am, but reopened at around 1pm.

Police and fire crews were called to the scene.

The roads were closed for safety reasons until the scaffolding was secured.

No injuries have been reported.
