It happened shortly after 8am and the vehicle, a Ford Ka ended up stuck sideways across the road. Police protected it with a squad car on blue lights and coned off the lane so all traffic was diverted into the outside lane. It is not thought anyone was injured.

There were also delays for drivers on the A2 Canterbury Road around the A251 Ashford Road, Faversham, due to a failure in temporary traffic lights.
