Police seal off the Shell petrol station at Macknade on Tuesday morning following a suspected burglary.

Police investigations are underway after thieves broke into the Shell Macknade petrol station in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A large quantity of cigarettes is beleived to have been taken from the shop around 3.40am.

The garage remains closed on Tuesday morning and the forecourt taped off while officers conduct forensics tests.

They are also studying CCTV of the break-in.
