Kent Police appeal for information after teen attacked in Canterbury

A gang attacked a teenager leaving him with cuts and bruises.

The gang targeted the 19-year-old near the clock tower in St George's Street, Canterbury.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident at 2.30am on Saturday, January 21.

Spokesman Martin Very said: "A group of nine white men punched and then kicked him when he fell to the floor.

"The victim subsequently went to hospital."
