Thanington stabbing suspect charged with GBH with intent and remanded in prison

A 17-year-old boy suspected of stabbing another teenager has been charged by police.

It is alleged he knifed an 18-year-old man in Godwin Road, Thanington, shortly before 5.45pm on Sunday.

Police were called to the street after it was reported the victim suffered a suspected stab wound to his thigh.

The 17-year-old was arrested and after questioning charged with GBH with intent.

He appeared at Channel Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and was remanded in prison until a date yet to be set.
