Three-car crash in Cockering Road, Chartham

A woman car passenger was taken for treatment at a London hospital after suffering serious injuries in a three-car crash.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision in Cockering Road, Chartham, at 5.23pm yesterday.

Investigating officer PC Simon Masterson, of the serious collision investigation unit, said: "The incident involved a white Lexus NX 300, a blue VW Polo and a silver Vauxhall Insignia.

"We are appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision or any of the vehicles prior to the collision to contact us.’

The woman was travelling in the VW Polo. Two other people suffered minor injuries.
