A Whitstable man has been jailed for 30 days after he stole 57 traffic cones from Faversham.

Craig Brabon, 29, of Lucerne Drive, Seasalter, swiped the cones and 42 security barriers worth £500 from The Street in Boughton-Under-Blean on January 10 last year.

In May last year he failed to turn up at court.

On Thursday, he admitted theft and failing to surrender to police bail and was sentenced to 30 days in prison.
