Charges follow Canterbury assault which left two people injured

Three people are set to appear in court after being charged following an assault which left two people injured.

Police were called to St Andrew's Close in Canterbury following the incident at around 1.20am on Thursday, December 7.

Karla Shaw, 29, and Darren Barnes, 33, both of no fixed address, were arrested the same day and have each since been charged with two counts of assault.

They have been remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on January 5.

Jack Harbour, 28, from Broom Road in Sittingbourne was also arrested in connection with the incident.

He was charged with breaching a criminal behaviour order after he was found in possession of alcohol and acting in an abusive and threatening way.

Harbour has been released on bail and is due to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on December 28.
